The casserole has been shared with my family since the 50's.
CANAL ZONE CASSEROLE
1-pkg noodles, cooked
1/4 lb butter
1 lb peppers, sliced
1 lb onions, sliced
2 stalks celery sliced
1 lb hamburger
1/4 lb mushrooms
1 clove garlic
1 bottle olives with juice
1/2 lb cheese
1 can chef Boyardi Sauce with Mushrooms
1 can undiluted tomato soup
Fry separately all vegetables in butter. Fry hamburger, mushrooms, and garlic. Mix together with olives, cheese, sauce, soup. Bake until brown on top. 350 degrees for 1 hour.
